You are right, actually all the delays are caused by USPS and you can find online information to confirm that even within USA parcels sometimes take 1 full month to be delivered.
As we understand that Express shipping should not take more than a week, we really hope that the situation will be better soon.

Yes, you can refill the bottle with any clear alcohol but if you want to keep it authentic it is better to refill it with rice wine that you can find in Asian supermarkets.

We usually use Fedex only for orders of more than 5 bottles.

It tastes like sake with a hint of ginseng and other earthy goodness. Not like rotting snake like some people say. Our one friend couldn’t keep it down but it was purely psychological from seeing the bottle in front of him, plus he jumped the gun and had to hold the shot longer than us. Even the dog was satisfied with this product. We refilled it with vodka and will have round 2 in another year.
